CA: Protocol for Estimating Demand Response Load Impacts

These protocols represent California Public Utility Commission's approach to estimating and verifying the load impacts of demand response programs and dynamic pricing tariffs (e.g. critical peak pricing). They were developed to be used in 2009-2011 program and budget applications filed by Southern California Edison Company (SCE), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E).
