The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is developing a guide for Local Government Climate and Energy Strategies. Draft chapters of the guide are being posted on EPA's local best practices page as they are available. This section on local government facilities and operations provides an overview of opportunities and resulting benefits, and walks users through seven key planning steps. In addition, it provides links to dozens of resources and program examples.
