This study estimates the achievable cost-effective potential for electric energy and peak demand savings from energy efficiency measures in North Carolina. The findings suggest that the technical potential is 33% of projected 2017 kWh sales in the State, while achievable cost-effective potential is 14% of projected 2017 kWh sales. Data sets that can be found in this study include:

  • Customer base, electric usages and load forecast for the state of North Carolina
  • Assessment of achievable potential for energy efficiency measures by sector
